Vad är Test Data Automation?
Testdataautomation ger ”agila” data i den hastighet som krävs för automatiserade tester och snabba frisläppningscykler. TDA integrerar ett komplett utbud av sina egna TDM-verktyg med befintliga processer, vilket skapar ett enhetligt tillvägagångssätt på begäran. ”Testdatabehandling” i flera steg hittar, skapar och allokerar automatiskt data när testerna skapas eller körs. En testdatakatalog gör varje process enkel att upprepa, vilket bäddar in testdatabehandling i automatiserad testkörning och CI/CD-direktförbindelse.

Integration with difficult to access mainframe resources
Kommentarer: With the advent of GDPR within the EU it's imperative that we clean up our datasets and this tool which generates functionally and logically accurate data which represents no real person is ideal for this and particularly on our mainframe systems.

We found the software extremely flexible in allowing us to set up various techniques to automate our data generation. In fact we couldn't find a use case that we couldn't manage to cover. While the access to standard data sources was great, what most impressed us was the ability to access difficult mainframe data sources such as VSAM, IMS and DB2 and we were even able to generate data into a CICS program and an MQ queue. We haven't seen that flexibility with other software.

It was a little finicky to get up and runing in house but with excellent support, we got there !

Best of the Industry for Portion of the Price
Kommentarer: The platform is great, but it does require investment to learn and maximize all the excellent features.

The suite of tools that it belongs to is impressive in terms of the potential impact it can produce. I'm excited most by the opportunities that can be explored once the tool is in place (RPA, etc) and the vision of the team behind it.
Nackdelar:
Compared to other commercial tools from larger companies, the support system may not be as mature comparatively as well as some basic things such as having the right paperwork and documentation for terms and conditions, etc.

Easy to use TDM Tool

While running the CMD files, don't forget to close your configuration file. And that happened to me once in a while :( ;)
