Loved the platform when it worked. When it had glitches they could not fix they refused to refund half of my money when half the year had expired. I had to cancel and go to StreamYard who did Not have the same problems. Our guests had problems getting the broadcast often because the sign on was confusing for them. It caused problems. I am going to American Express Platinum and filing a complaint bad business practices.

NEVER WORKED FOR ME AND NOW THEY WON'T GIVE A REFUND

Kommentarer: What a mess. I apparently signed up for a paid subscription a few years ago. Upon going back through my old emails, I see it never worked properly. They charged me for the service that I never utilized. Now I tried again, realized it still wouldn't work for me, and they refuse to honor the 7-day refund after 1 day because they say I was a paid subscriber before. No way to call either.

The best Multistream Service

Kommentarer: I'm happy with Restream, with my 2 years using stream, I only experience one issue with them. The issue was, I have a good internet connection, but it seems my ISP connection and Restream having an issue. Support was able to help me by giving me access to the beta feature of Stream Applifier which helps resolve the issue. So all in all, I have a great experience with Restream, I just wish they be more flexible in providing add-on features for a non-profit that need failsafe stream backup without subscribing to their $299/mo package.

Restream is a feature pack multistream service out there. It is also the easiest UI/UX to understand. Even if it's your first time accessing Restream, you'll immediately be able to set up your account. What I love the most is the unified chat integration and the bot that comes with it. You can live stream on YouTube and Facebook and see all the chat's in one place. The bot helps sends out a series of chats at a predetermined time. For example, you can setup that when you type !Subs, the bot will chat, "Don't forget to subscribe" and have it send every 30mins. Stream recording is a bonus as well, it lets me download past live stream episodes for archiving purposes.

What I don't like about Restream is, even if you paid $19/mo they will put a "Powered by Restream.io" on your live stream description/caption. Streaming for 3 concurrent channels will also force you to upgrade at $49/month which is a bit expensive.

It Used To Be Free But...

Kommentarer: When we first started using this tool, it was like a cool new secret weapon. Most OBS software didn't support multi-streaming then, so this gave us the opportunity to stream our concerts across a LOT wider audience. But all good (free) things must come to an end... There is now not really any reason to use Restream unless you've never used any other streaming service and you're just starting out. It's a good platform to learn on but it can get expensive if you want to actually utilize the multiple streams.

When Restream hit the market, it was a place that "handed off" your video to a lot of other destinations so that you didn't have to figure all that stuff out yourself. It was dead-simple to use and it used to be free for multiple platforms.

What is most disappointing with this platform is that sometimes the extended platforms it connects to go down, shut down, break, or otherwise don't work, but you will almost never get notices about these - the system seems to only notify you if there are issues with YouTube or Facebook.

The best thing about the software is that you can stream across multiple platforms simultaneously without uploading to multiple servers. Restream is easy to use and I would say "idiots safe".

Strangely enough Restream tells me that the server in England (London) is better for streaming than the one in Frankfurt. OBS and Steam always recommend Frankfurt for download and uploads. But that's just a small thing. The bigger problem are the smaller bugs. Restream Chat sometimes doesn't send my messages as a streamer, sometimes it says "Reload again" and I have to wait a while. It happens that the restream chat takes some time to send chat messages. It also happened that the design of the chat in my stream had formatting errors. All in all I am very satisfied, because apart from these small inconveniences Restream is brilliant. But there is one thing I dislike! If I click on a user in the chat, then directly under my mouse when the menu opens, is a button called "Block User". Unfortunately I keep coming back to this annoying button. Would it be possible to move it a bit?

The only downside is that sometimes the game and titles of the broadcast don't match up on each platform so you may have to adjust things on each site before you get started.

I really like the easy usage of your software. Just putting up all the streamkeys and nothing really more to be done to start streaming to all the sites i want. The overall quality is also very good, i think i only had 1 stream disconnect (where it was not my internets fault) and i streamed at least 400 times through restream.

Well as good as the software may be, there are several things that really annoy me. One Problem i have is the restream chat desktop software. It crashes really often and when i say that i mean like every 2-3 streams when i am live for more than 2 hours. It is extremely annoying and also disturbs the overall experience my stream provides to me and the viewers. Another problem is, that sometimes it cant connect to twitch or youtube or has a really huge delay between those sites. Sure there are also things that your software can't influence but if twitch is delayed by 10 seconds and youtube by 40 i doubt that its just youtubes worse servers?

Kommentarer: Honestly I have nothing but good things to say about Restream. What restream was designed to do does it so well. When first starting on the website everything is clean and easy to locate. It is beginner and user friendly, it's far from overwhelming. And again the convenience to stream on multiple platforms is a dream come true for those that want to.

Restream gives you the opportunity to stream on multiple platforms with ease. My favorite thing about restream is that they give you the opportunity to test other streaming platforms all at once. For example, at one point I considered to stream on Youtube and so I did with two other platforms all at once. Turns out I didn't find Youtube being the right choice for me. I'm glad that I was able to find out that a certain platform was not for me with out setting aside the other platforms I have worked on.

I don't have any complaints with restream, they have updates every so often. My only issue that I have EVER had was Restream's Chat and a couple of times I had trouble reconnecting platforms with restream and these platforms would disconnect on their own. But again with updates it was all resolved.

It’s a streamers toolbox

Being able to broadcast to all platforms is nice and it adds some hidden features like being able to test your stream by turning off all channels. The restream chat app is always really nice even if you only stream on one platform.

The new chat app is missing features the old one had like being able to play a sound every time a new chat comes in. There is a feature like this in the new chat but you can’t change the sound. The old chat also had a bot that is not present in the new app. There also used to be a way to view your stream health on all platforms but I can’t seem to find it anymore.
