Buyer beware they’re very unreliable in so many ways
Kommentarer: Definitely not a good experience. Overall, we decided to go with another software after giving them chances. Customer service is slow to answer, and there are just way too many glitches with calendars and double bookings. We have posted on host support sites and have the same thing for many owners.

They are one of the most unreliable, inconsistent and unprofessional companies we have dealt with in this business. It takes days for customer service to answer you if you’re having a problem, and most of the time, it’s a big answer, and requires you to go back-and-forth, which adds more time. The sync feature for calendars and integrations is horrible. we have had consistent double bookings because of glitches on their end. This is a dealbreaker for us.

A good choice for STR business

What I liked most about Guesty For Hosts is its powerful automation tools that simplify managing multiple properties. One aspect I liked least about Guesty For Hosts is its pricing, which can be expensive for smaller operations. Additionally, the platform's extensive features can be overwhelming, resulting in a steep learning curve for new users. Occasionally, customer support response times are slower during peak periods, which can be frustrating.

Guesty made it super easy to connect all of my channels together. I have my calendar manager in price labs and my cleaning manager in turbo I needed to connect to Airbnb. Without Guesty for hosts, I wouldn’t have been able to do that!

Guesty For Hosts Works Very Well & Is A Must Have For Simple Integration
Kommentarer: Was challenging at first and a lot of work to set everything up, but once you do that it's easy to use.

Not on google hotels yet like their competitors and seems like it's going to be another year before they do or more.

Kommentarer: I have had an A+ experience since my free trial. It didn't take me long to subscribe and I feel the benefits will greatly outweigh the cost of the software. With a monthly and yearly option it was easy to work into my current budget. Great product!

The price point is perfect at only $49 per month and it is loaded with options. Being able to sync all of my platforms to one channel manager has been a lifesaver and reduced my workload by 35% or more.

I have no cons! Implementation is the hardest and longest part but it is a breeze and they provide plenty of self-help tutorials and a thorough knowledge base.

I like the calendar feature and the feature to view property specifics. It is easy to use and user friendly. The process to set up agents in the system is extremely easy as well. I Love the fact that we are able to load the links to all property specifics from the actual Guesty system.

The payment process is a bit all over the place. You are able to add credit cards and sometimes it is hard to find out which button will actually process the payment in real time. Sometimes we have to enter the information and let the system manually take it.

Broken Vrbo Integration
Kommentarer: As of this review (June 12th, 2023), I would recommend using a different platform if planning to list on sites outside of AirBnb. The bugs I experienced in my 2 weeks were too severe, slow, and difficult to resolve. I don't have a problem using buggy software until it starts affecting the basic task at hand; unfortunately, I believe Guesty For Hosts is a software that was rolled out too early and could cause more harm than good to a customer.Overall: 3/5 starsUser Interface: 3/5 stars (Mobile Included)AirBnb Integration: 4.5/5 starsVrbo Integration: 2/5 starsCustomer Support Speed/Reliability: 1/5 stars

Syncing calendars between AirBnb and Vrbo. This worked most of the time, but I did have multiple issues with Vrbo reservations lagging to show on customer-facing calendars. This led to an instance of a double booking. Ultimately, I "resolved" this issue by disabling Instant Bookings-- therefore, all reservations are filtered manually.

Guesty's integration into Vrbo is broken to put it simply. To start, it was slow to integrate as it took ~3 days of downtime before my Vrbo posting was manageable again (if you integrate before your rental season, this shouldn't be a problem). Once integrated, Guesty attempted to deploy my AirBnb listing to the Vrbo platform but botched the job as it modified the Vrbo listing to have 13 bedrooms opposed to the 2 bedrooms my AirBnb displays (AirBnb has a feature to assign pictures to each room, and somehow the 13 rooms in my house each were listed as bedrooms on Vrbo).Another issue I continue to see is that Vrbo reservation lag to update in Guesty's database (and one time not populating in the database at all). If Instant Booking is enabled and you're in a popular area, you will observe scheduling conflicts.Lastly and potentially the biggest issue of Guesty, is the limited Customer Support. There's no phone number to call and it operates on an "email ticket" basis-- so a day or two can go by before hearing back from them. This can be detrimental when mixing the previously mentioned bugs into time-sensitive scenarios. With that being said, once I was able to schedule a video call with their Customer Support, I was matched with someone who was helpful-- you can just tell they're heavily outmatched with all the issues they're receiving.
Multi Platform User Review of Guesty
Kommentarer: Guesty overall has been a top notch experience for us. We've had some technical glitches and customer service sometimes is on the slow side with today's work enviroment of too much work and not enough employees, but Guesty has done a great job overall of managing our platforms and I would highly recommend it.

Overall, Guesty is a fantastic tool. The ease of having all of our listings and information all in one place, makes the management of our listings so much easier. Guesty is also very user friendly and at the same time a very robust application.

The integration platform is at times cumbersome and sometimes confusing. Step by step directions need to be updated to match the actual integration process for each platform.

The most important use for us has been the automation. The guest messaging feature has been a game changer. It works perfectly and guests love it. It is so easy to get them the information the need. The cleaning management is great. The ability to use multiple booking platforms in one centralized app is the best feature.

Wish the cleaning feature was more of a task feature. This would include cleaning, repairs, maintenance, scheduled tasks (like deep clean days, filters, spa). It can be managed as is, but would be so much better if this section was more robust. Especially with individual photo options for tasks, repairs etc
Guesty for Host - Past User's Input

Guesty for Hosts was a great way to get started with a few properties under management. The onboarding was a nice and easy process.

Guesty for Host has limitations once you reach 4 plus properties. I was having trouble integrating more due to limited features like the owner statements and the UX is very dated. It also took 7 plus days for IT tickets to be addresses. No one to call only an email for support.

The cost doubled this year which is quite a lot for a small business.Damage protection is good; however 21 day limit for short term rentals for coverage makes it difficult to book longer stays and usually I lose bookings when they have to book multiple times
Avoid Guesty if Connecting VRBO
Kommentarer: Guesty customer support is absolutely horrible. My issue stemmed from inability to connect to VRBO which appears to be an issue with the cancellation policy. I created an account with Guesty on May 22 and it has been nearly SIX weeks without the ability to connect or access my VRBO account. This has cost me thousands of dollars during peak summer booking season. More than 35+ emails have been exchanged with zero resolution and only a "our development team is working on it" response provided. In this time, there has not been an opportunity or offer to have even a phone conversation with customer support - everything has been through email which for this issue, it would have been helpful. When I stated that I was going to disconnect all connected platforms, only then did I get offered an 'opportunity' to speak with a customer success representative. Having experienced this, I would NEVER recommend Guesty for Hosts with anyone.

Connecting your rental platforms is great - no issues with AirBnb. VRBO is a different story and the customer support has been horrible to say the least. Automated messages to your guests is very helpful. One stop shop for rental management is great.
