Kommentarer: Splashtop works very well and has a bunch of features i find usefull such as two factor authentication which guarantees me my connections are safe.

Splashtop is supported on windows, mac and even linux and as so i can use it on any laptop or computer we have at the company. Splashtop also offers a free trail.

Remote printing on Splashtop sometimes does not work so well and needs a few tries to work.

Rare Program That Actually Does What It Claims To Do
Kommentarer: Splashtop is a rare program that actually does what it claims to do. After connecting to a remote I have never had an instance where it refused to let me control everything, from program installations to registry editing. I can't ask for more than that.

Minor thing but if there is an update pending you must install it before connecting to any of your remotes.

Kommentarer: Overall this is a good tool, with a little bit of improvement it would be great.

Splashtop works great to remote in to another PC and assist or repair. The file transfer feature works great and the tool is fairly easy to use.

The resolution of the remote PC could use some upgrading, often it seems a bit blury or hard to see. Splashtop requires the user to allow the connection or if it times out it will allow you in. sometime I need to over ride the user and they just reject the remote session when I try to connect.

Ease of use

Splashtop my goto solution for an easy remote access.
Kommentarer: I have been using this solution for my customers for the last 8 years. It was a switch from Logmein who (back then) was closing or changing price range dramatically. Splashtop as been my only solution from 2014 until this year.

It's a cross-platform solution, easy installation for remote access. Price is really cheap. Lots of remotes information and option to control the remote devices. Software as fast response from remote machine.

The Linux version is not fully working, still as a few bug.

Resolution on laptop not the best at times, but I believe splashtop offers a version higher than the one I purchased that has better resolution. So this is a fixable problem.

Splashtop is a lifesaver

I love that I can manage the corporate non-profit finance and admin from anywhere. It's ease of use and integrations are top-notch. I can copy from my screen and paste into the remote computer. I can screenshot the remote computer or my computer. It's just incredibly easy to use.

Great Remote Control App

I like the interface, I find it very easy to navigate and I very much enjoy the auto-login functionality as it saves me a lot of time entering passwords. I find the whole product to be user friendly and stable.

The only thing I don't like about Splashtop is the chat functionality. The chat windows is only on the remote side and it makes chatting with the end user difficult.

Good Cost effective multi-platform remote desktop
Kommentarer: Requirement to remotely troubleshoot tablets and desktops, without a site visit, or awkward "press this button" coaching.

Easy deployment for windows machines. (We used GPO and PDQ Deploy). Requirement was to have one central remote support tool for multiple types of devices, including Windows PC, android tablets, and iPhones. Included both a web client, and thick client. Integrated with Azure for SSO.Can separate devices by any logical grouping (site, type, etc)

Flakey install sometimes. It would not take MSI arguments, so I had to create 4 different transform files and associated GPOs for each site for logical grouping.

Excellent service for the price

The price is the best part. We have tried other services, and some were better than others, but for the most part Splashtop is excellent and so much more affordable for an office like ours where we dont do remote work often, but it is nice to be able to.

For some reason the iPad doesnt seem to work as well as the mobile version. Otherwise they have done a great job!

Great platform at a great price.
Kommentarer: It is an invaluable tool for my small business. It's easy to use. Simple to navigate. Doesn't have tons of bells and whistles that I wouldn't use but have to pay for, so the value is wonderful for us.

Easy to use. Responsive. I can install on multiple devices without having to pay for each device. We access remotely rarely, but this allows access when there are files not on the one drive and we can move it there remotely. Also allows me to see what my business partner is seeing on their screen during meetings and to also walk through technical things he doesn't understand to work.

When I do have trouble connecting, the trouble shooting tips aren't very helpful.

Haven't found anything I don't like. Every tinme I use Splashtop it is consistantly secure and available. The computer from remote occupies teh whole display and one may not differentiate at times host and current computer.

Use in Healthcare Setting

I don't know of any cons to speak of. Sometimes, if I am working remotely and have a poor signal, it doesn't work. That is more of an issue on my end and not due to Splashtop.
